Rezumat

This paper contains studies concerning development of agricultural products wastes derived from grapes processing. Charcoals and active carbons were obtained from grape seeds before and after preliminary extracting from them of oil and enotannins. Two procedures, physical-chemical method of activation with water steam and chemical method of activation with phosphoric acid, were applied to synthesize active carbons. General physical-chemical characteristics were evaluated by determining of iodine and methylene blue indexes, sorption volume on benzene and pH of water extract. Preliminary extraction of oil and enotannins from grape seeds influences on porous structure of the obtained active carbons and favor increase of the general physical-chemical characteristics. The yield of the obtained active carbons increases by about 1.5 times, also valuable products as oil and enotannins are preliminary extracted from seeds. Results reveal that for increasing of the efficiency of raw material usage is recommended to extract oil and enotannins from grape seeds before carbonization process. Physical-chemical method of activation is recommended for obtaining of active carbons from grape seeds.
