In the paper are exposed the results of the study of biochemical quality of biocompost obtained by using the effective microbial preparations „ЭМ Baikal-1” and „EM-1”, in the process of bioconversion of the biodegradable unfermented organic waste (manure of cattle). A large-scale experiment was carried out for qualitative evaluation of biocompost obtained by using efficient microorganisms (EM). The basic preparations „Baikal ЭМ-1” and „EM-1” was diluted (100 ml EM -basic preparation/ 10 liters of water) to obtain working solutions for spraying the manure of cattle in their bioconversion process. For the processing of 0.5 tons of manure were used 50 liters of the working solution. The processing of manure was performed outdoors under anaerobic and aerobic conditions, the substrate humidity constituting 50–60%. In order to reduce the humidity of the substrate, 30% of cellulose (straw) was added. For each preparation we had one experimental and one control sample. In the experimental samples the unfermented manures were subjected to composting using efficient micro-organisms of the preparation „Baikal ЭМ-1” under anaerobic conditions, and respectively – the preparation „EМ-1” under aerobic conditions. In both control variants the manure were subjected to traditional composting. The biocompost obtained after 2 months of processing was subjected to biochemical analyzes. Analyzing the obtained experimental results, we noticed that in biocompost obtained from the unfermented manure of cattle, subjected to the bioconversion process using preparations „ЭМ Baikal-1” and „EM-1”, the content of ammonia essentially diminished (respectively with 79.68% and 70.91%) and the total nitrogen amount increased (respectively with 147.33% and 105.33%) in comparison with the same indicators in manure samples at the initial stage. The value of the other biochemical indicators from the obtained biocompost changed insignificantly. Thus, it has been found that in the result of the processing of the unfermented manure using the efficient microorganisms of preparations „ЭМ Baikal-1” and „EM-1” essential changes occurred in the content of ammonia and of total nitrogen.
