Rezumat

Water is intensively studied in many countries, especially after opening of its cluster structure and anomalous properties [1]. The report discusses the main results in this area, relating to the following aspects of the science of water: molecular orbitals of the molecule of water; hydrogen bonds between H2O molecules in ice and super cooled water; ortho- and para-water; the typical local three-dimensional structure of water in liquid and solid form; the three-dimensional lattice of liquid water; three-dimensional crystal of liquid water; water as a mixture of clusters (dimers, tetramers, cyclic pentamers, bi-cycle octamers, tri-cycle decamers, icosahedral clusters (H2O)280) with different arrangement degrees of equilibrium hydrogen bonds; the lifetime of clusters; determining the average time interval between the decay of clusters and the formation of new clusters [2]; the phase diagram of water; the temperature dependence of the water content in the air; the absorption of IR electromagnetic radiation by water; the thermodynamic, dynamic and structural anomalies of water: 11 thermodynamic anomalies plus other 46 anomalies constitute the 57 anomalies of water [1]; the abnormal dependence of the diffusion coefficient of the molecules of H2O on the Ba2+ ion concentration in the water [2]. The discussion of the molecular forms and properties of water that we intend to make further will inevitably be incomplete due to their large diversity. There will be also discussed the role of water in the environment protection.
