Mihail Kogălniceanu was one of the most important politicians and intellectual from XIX century. He promoted the ideas of liberalism and modernization of the state. This was possible only by creating a political ideology. History has taken a leading role in this ideology. We wrote in this study about the creation of the principles of modern historiography in the Romanian Countries. These principles were elaborated by Mihail Kogalniceanu in 1843. The majority of these are also valid today |
