<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'><p>In the article Unity and the separation of powers in the commonwealth of independent states: general and special, authors points to the reasons for the reception of the principle of separation of powers in the post-Soviet countries as an attribute of a truly democratic state of law; studied the model of legal recognition of the principle of separation of powers in the states of the Commonwealth of Independent States; identified problematic issues of the relationship of unity and separation of powers.</p></description>
