Rezumat

As known, each decision-making process is based on one or several decision models, depending on how quickly we need the decision, what kind of information do we have and how rational the decision will be. In this article we are going to analyze the most important decision models through their component elements and to determine which of them can be found in the military decision-making process, in order to figure out on which decision the model is based on and which are the elements that help us to come to this conclusion. Each decision model is specified by certain elements which make it unique and distinguishable. At the end, we’ll establish how many elements are found in the military decision-making process, from which models they are originated, and how they influence the decision taking. Also, the recommendations will be elaborated, based on the research on how to use the decision models in order to obtain good military decisions.
