The aim of this paper is to inform the population about the diversity of non-wood forest products from the local flora and the possibilities they offer in increasing the food resources, improving and diversifying the food ration. By analyzing the research material, we watched to obtain scientific data and information with theoretical and practical value. For the interpretation of the diversity of the forest edible flora, we have made a description of species taking into account the following aspects: the scientific name and the author, the biological form and cycle, the flowering and fructification phenophase, the edible part. Systematic observation of autochthonous forest edible vascular plants comprises 158 species, 124 genera and 47 botanical families. The most representative families are Asteraceae with 23 species and Rosaceae with 22 species. The families Lamiaceae and Brasicaceae have 10 species each. All the mentioned families constitute 41.1% of the total number of species inventoried.
