In the frame of the Republic of Moldova Dniester River is monitored in 7 hydrological stations. Base Flow Index (BFI) methodology has been applied to estimated ground water base flow. For this purposes 11 separate methods were used. Data were processed with geo statistical software SPSS 22. Naturally river run off is increasing from the North to the South. In real conditions in this direction run off is decreasing. This process is influenced by regularization of the river via Dubasari lake and water extraction for different purposes. Base flow have the same peculiarities. Climatic conditions directly impact both river run off and base flow. |
