Forest ecosystems, as part of nature, represent through the products and their functions a heritage of humanity, therefore climate change, observed over the past three decades, also the projections on climate change for the future, represent a challenge for forestry, given by complex interrelations between climate and forests, visible globally, but also regionally and locally. Between eco-physiological processes of trees, the vital processes of forest and meteorological parameters there are direct dependences. Quantification of these interdependencies, are given by various indicators and indices, and this work comes to synthesize recent scientific research in the field of forestry sector vulnerability’ expression against climate change, particularly for deciduous forests of Europe, particularly for the Republic of Moldova country. |
