Frosts are frequent meteorological phenomena for the temperate continental climate, but under certain conditions they may become climate risks through their consequences, the most dangerous being those that occur outside their season. Under these circumstances, they can get a climate risk issue by being able to affect vegetables, fruit trees and grapevine in the early stages of development and compromise the whole harvest. The local conditions are of particular importance for the distribution and intensity of frost. The probability of damaging flowers and fruits in apricot trees accounts for an average of 15-40%, for other fruit crops - up to 15%. A special danger for vine shows late spring frosts. The probability of these frosts on the territory of the republic is 10-30% years. In the context of climate change, the risk of these phenomena becomes more and more intensive, and the impact on the agricultural sector of the republic is growing.
