Rezumat

The impact of continuous training on the attractiveness of the Informatics school discipline and learning outcomes demonstrated by students is assessed. The attractiveness of the discipline is measured by the share of high school graduates who have chosen Informatics in the baccalaureate examinations. As learning outcomes, the average grades in Informatics are taken from students during secondary and high school studies. It has been found that in the case of teachers who have undergone continuous training, the attractiveness of Informatics increases. At the same time, the hypothesis that students taught by teachers who have undergone continuous training in Computer Science would receive higher grades has been rejected. Most likely, the grades given by teachers to their students remain subjective, which suggests the expansion of external evaluations.
