The deficiencies in the correspondence between standards and skills, the reduced number of PISA-related content, the reduced number of curricular competencies targeted by the PISA test, make inconsistencies and difficulties in improving students’ results and get an acceptable level of literacy targeted by European Policy Cooperation Framework ET 2020 that fewer than 15%of 15-year-olds should be under-skilled in Reading, Mathematics and Science. It is necessary to intervene on the relevance of thematic content and to ensure the correspondence between curricular standards and competences in Romanian language and literature. |
