The article provides a comparative analysis of the legislative framework in the field of state regulation of the transplantation of human organs and (or) tissues in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus. The analysis of problems, gaps and prospects for further development of the legislation of Ukraine is carried out. The state and level of the development of the transplant field as a whole in two countries, the number of organ transplants performed in recent years, the number of effective donors at present is revealed. The prospects for expanding of international cooperation in the exchange of donor organs (unclaimed for recipients in Ukraine) with other European countries and Ukraine’s entry into the International Organization for the Exchange of Donor Organs “FOEDUS” following the example of Belarus are considered. |
