The homework in musical education represents a specific character of knowledge
and assimilating process, thus it is examined in the context of the general concept of
musical education in accordance with principles: living through the music, educative –
formative – technological principle, continuity of the lessons subjects and the accessible
principles. Depending on its aim and aspect the homework can have either learning aspect or educative one. From this point of view, the importance of homework results from its contribution for the achievement of learning and educative objectives.
Enlightening the musical culture becomes a task for the whole life not only during
school course but also music continues to be a value in time which is actualized in different situations of life. Learning how to approach the art means to make from itself a constant presence of life.
