Rezumat

The present article identifies the role of Emotional Intelligence for Effective Com-munication in Adolescence. The teenager is not indifferent to what is happening inside and outside. All internal and external events have a more intense or less intense echo in their own being. Adolescents are in constant communication. They hope that in the stream of people they will com-municate with, they will ally many interesting, new, important things. That's why interest usually appears to every new person. Searching for communication is not limited to new people. Relation-ships and communication with peers occupy an important place in adolescent life. First of all, they are a source of information, especially knowledge, that is not obtained from adults, secondly, they constitute a field of self-reliance, offers the possibility of confirming group membership.
