The public need for a new training strategy in the field of inclusive education has ripened for more than a decade before becoming conscious and resulting in demands for a change in the traditional system. To be effective in modern conditions, the system of training teachers in the field of inclusive education is forced to change the goals of education, its content and technology, in accordance with the trends that determine the development of general education practice and, in a sense, even ahead of it. Future teachers in their goals and ways of working will in many respects not resemble today's teachers. Their main difference will be the teacher's orientation not to transfer knowledge, but to develop the abilities of typical and non-typical students. Future teachers will have to master appropriate teaching technologies. |
