Rezumat

This paper presents data on ex-situ conservation and cultivation of spontaneous medicinal species in the collections of National Botanical Garden (Institute) of Republic of Moldova. During the last decade more than one hundred autochthonous medicinal species were added to the collection. The results of bio-morphological studies of some spontaneous therapeutically important species are given. The study results aimed at developing methods of propagation and ecological optimization of their agro-technical practices were obtained. The research in various aspects of medicinal species with different rarity status, determining the optimal strategy for preservation perspectives is presented
