В статье рассматривается вопрос понимания места Конституционного Суда Украины в механизме органов государственной власти в результате изменений в Конституцию Украины, внесенных в 2016 году. Анализируются особенности правового регулирования функций Конституционного Суда Украины, статуса его судей, основ конституционного судопроизводства. Конституционный Суд Украины определен как независимый автономный в рамках судебной власти, специализирующийся на решении особо общественно значимых конституционных споров орган конституционного правосудия, гарант охраны Конституции Украины, конституционных прав и свобод человека и гражданина.  

The article examines the issue of understanding the place of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in the mechanism of public authorities as a result of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine introduced in 2016. Analyzes the features of the legal regulation of the functions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the status of its judges, the fundamentals of the constitutional legal proceedings. The Constitutional Court of Ukraine is defined as an independent autonomous body within the judiciary specializing in resolving especially socially significant constitutional disputes, a body of constitutional justice, a guarantor of protection of the Constitution of Ukraine, constitutional rights and freedoms of a person and citizen
