Rezumat

Сегодня в связи с тенденцией к построению в РМ правового государства и развития гражданского общества понятие адвокатуры как институт гражданского общества, ее социальный статус существенно изменяются, происходят сложные процессы осмысления своей роли и в самом адвокатском сообществе. Авторы определяют историческую эволюцию гражданского общества и выясняют каково истинное предназначение адвоката в современном обществе.

Today, in connection with the tendency to build a law-governed state in the Republic of Moldova and the development of civil society, the notion of the legal profession as an institution of civil society, its social status is changing significantly, and there are complex processes of understanding its role in the advocacy community itself. The authors determine the historical evolution of civil society and find out what is the true purpose of the lawyer in modern society.
