Start-ups represent new businesses, starting from capitalizing a project idea, designed to find new solutions to the same type of problems or new opportunities. Start-ups are very controversial. There are opinions that support the idea that start-ups are innovative and start their work based on high funding even from the beginning of their business, leaning on rising growth due to investors’ interventions. Other opinions support the idea that start-ups are not confused with normal businesses in terms of evolution of their development, as well as their life span, in the sense that start-ups have a short life span between 3 and 5 years. In Romania, the start-up concept is attributed to newly created enterprises that are going to operate, or, in other words, to enterprises that are set up in order to attract funding and which are conditional on being "new firms" proving that can undertake a financial effort materialized in co-financing the project for which they have been set up. |
