The deferred conflicts on the so-called Post-Soviet space are called the ”frozen conflicts”, being different from each other. These conflicts seem to have many simularities, such as the inefficient peace resolution mechanism, appearance of the separatist regimes as de-facto states and an active role of the protector country (Russian Federation). However, the conflicts in the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as in Ukraine, differ from each ofhte when we refer to the conflict nature (ethnic, political, etc.), the possibilities of escalation and ”heating”. Therefore, in this paper an attention is paid to the ”frozen conflict” and related terminology. This makes it possible to reveal the specifics of the conflict in the Republic of Moldova and the limits of the human security gurantee under the ”frozen conflict”. At the same time, a space is allocated in this paper to the analysis of correlation between the ”justice state” concept and the notion of ”frozen conlicts”. In conclusion, the principal elements are highlighted which determine the specifics of frozen conflicts in the states on the Post-Soviet space. |
