The attempts to explain the beginning of mankind and its progress until now tend to include more and more a spacetime sight that would be linear and whose ultimate purpose would be the quest for happiness and flowering obtained by progress and ideal. However, if we consider different periods and the european countries, in particular, with some French and Romanian examples, we realize that the place of individual has changed and adapted itself to the multiple obstacles that were put in his way, as contacts between cultures and civilizations were growing and even ere clashing. The XXIst century that has still increased communicating possibilities changes behaviours and raises ne questions about the sense and finality of this mankind, especially in Europe.
