The article highlights the protection of human rights and gender equality, stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 68 of 05.04.2012 on the approval of the National Strategy for Decentralization and Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Strategy for Decentralization for 2012-2018, other laws and international treaties. The relevance of the topic is determined by its significance. The protection of human rights is one of the main tasks of a democratic state. According to part (3) of Art. 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, adopted on June 29, 1994, the Republic of Moldova is a democratic legal state in which the dignity of a person, his rights and freedoms, the free development of the human person, justice and political pluralism are the highest values and are guaranteed. Strengthening the protection of human rights, preventing and eliminating discrimination on the basis of sexual, national, linguistic and other grounds is one of the most important goals of the National Decentralization Strategy for 2012-2018. |
