Rezumat

In this paper we try to present a unified logical framework for exploring concepts of nation, national identity and citizenship. National identity is examined in two ways: first, as construction that is composed of different elements and second, as an agent, that creates itself some social realities. We argue that citizenship styles are the practiced national identities in everyday life settings. Respectively, two empirical studies on citizenship representation style and interrelated factors are presented and discussed.
