Diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis needs a comprehensive approach, especially when implementing a differential diagnosis of clinical manifestations of patient complaints and manifestations at the level of clinical research. In modern medicine, specialists face a symptomatology which is characteristic for chronic pancreatitis, but with any laboratory instrumental data, they encounter a divergence of the patient’s complaints and physical condition and the function of the pancreas gland. The nature of the symptoms and the peculiarities of the behavior of such patients allow us to propose the psychogenic nature of the disease, from neurotic and light affective disorders to severe psychoses and dementias. In modern classifications and ICD 10, psycho-vegetative disorders are referred to as somatoform disorders. The group of somatoform disorders includes depression, anxious-phobic, somatization and hypochondriacal disorders, which, having a certain connection with gastroenterological pathology, often manifests itself under the mask of symptoms of chronic pancreatitis, which should be taken into account when forming a treatment program. |
