Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a research area aimed at exploiting rich knowledge resources, in order to understand and identify concepts in standardized formats. In this paper, a prompt and reliable clinical-concept extraction procedure from a corpus of full-text academic articles, using a new text mining tool, is described. The goal of this study is to develop a framework for detecting malaria concept. This method can be useful to the direct beneficiaries (health professionals), but, also, researchers in the fields of BioNLP and NLP, etc. |
