This paper explores the conditions and the importance of professional skills and personal qualities of the teacher on the student intellectual development centered on cognitive and constructivist concepts. Educators argue for the importance of training students’ learning motivation to learn. In this context, several types of motivation, the conceptual framework of high effectiveness and quality of the educational process, concepts of school text-book constructivist planned on units of learning and the questionnaire Diagnosing motivation of student learning at gymnasium level are presented in the article. Finally, the conditions for effective communication between teacher and students within educational process based on the principles of contemporary constructivist didactics are presented.
