The results of a thorough study on the biology, content of essential oil, the chemical composition and the usage of the species Rosmarinus officinalis L., which is a perennial, herbaceous plant in the family Lamiaceae, are presented in this article. In the Republic of Moldova, it is researched as an aromatic and medicinal plant, which contains high amounts of biologically active substances, especially essential oil, used a lot in perfumery and cosmetics, as well as in medicine |
