Rezumat

The number of syntactic units differs according to the views of different linguists. This number varies from two to seven types of syntactic units. Some names of syntactic of the same notion: word combination for a syntactic group, sentence, phrase, and even text.  In our opinion, there are four basic syntactic units with a clear linguistic status: parts of sentence, syntactic group, sentence, and phrase.  We consider that in determining and studying the syntactical groups it is necessary to be kept in mind those nine specific features of them: the nominative, static, timeless, impersonal, non-predicative, formed of at least two national words, having a center and an adjunct in which a subordinate relation is established (agreement, rection, adhesion) and the morphological nature of regents.  We propose that the algorithm of the complex grammatical analysis of sentences should observe the following order: declarative/ interrogative, affirmative/ negative, affective/ non-affective, monomembre/ bimembre, undeveloped/ developed, coordinated/ subordinated, attributive and adverbial non-modifiers or modifiers.  According to the type of orientations and methodologies, there are different definitions of the phrase and, of course, various classifications of it. We consider that when doing a complex grammatical analysis of phrases there should be taken into consideration the following characteristics: the phrases must be upright, formed through coordination, subordination or mixed phrases with simple or complex structure, and affirmative. Therefore, in establishing the types of phrases, there should be determined the syntactical relations which are established between their components, the general structure of the phrase, the purpose of communication, etc.
