This is a survey of literature that treats, on a contemporary scientifie level, the problems of incidente, causes, pathogenesis, classification, clinical picture with the characteristics and forms of the disease development and diagnosis, the differential one inclusively. The rehabilitation measures in the acute and chronic forms of pyelonephritis, in exacerbations, complications, with repeated follow-up examinations and observation preventing the possible events are treated. The determination of limited potentialities and working capacities lasting for short or long periods of time, indications for employment with changed working conditions for those with acute and chronic pyelonephritis are discussed.

Trecând în revistă literatura de specialitate, prezentăm la nivel ştiinţific contemporan problemele incidenţei, cauzelor, patogenezei, clasificării, tabloului clinic cu caractere şi forme de dezvoltare, de diagnosticare, inclusiv diagnosticul diferenţiat. Sunt abordate problema măsurilor de reabilitare în formele acută şi cronică de pielonefrită, în exacerbări şi complicaţii, evidenţa bolnavilor şi supravegherea lor ulterioară, menite să prevină posibilele agravări. Sunt discutate determinarea posibilităţilor fizice şi a capacitaţii de muncă limitate, care durează perioade de timp mai scurte sau mai lungi, indicaţiile pentru angajarea în câmpul muncii, dar în condiţii modificate, a pacienţilor cu pielonefrită acută sau cronică.
