Rezumat

This paper presents the main steps for the synchronous interconnection of Ukrainian and Moldovan power systems to the Continental European ENTSO-E power system and the feasibility study recently accomplished.  The first step in this process was the feasibility study. The overall objective of this study was to identify the main elements needed to make possible the synchronous interconnection and to recommend the main measures to be taken in order to overcome the main technical, organizational and legal possible obstacles.
