У статті досліджуються типові слідчі ситуації першого етапу розслідування незаконної порубки лісу. Установлено місце типових слідчих ситуацій у межах криміналістичної методики розслідування таких злочинів. Визначено, що основними критеріями типиіації слідчих ситуацій першого етапу розслідування незаконного вирубування лісу є кількісний та інформаційний. На думку автора, інформаційний критерій передбачає дослідження типового обсягу криміналістично значущої інформації про злочин, якою володіє слідчий на відповідному етапі розслідування злочину, і відомостей про можливості слідства отримати так інформацію про злочин. Зважаючи на кількісний критерій, слідчі ситуації першого етапу розслідування незаконного вирубування лісу можна типізувати на основі вивчення статистичної повторюваності тих або інших комбінацій відомостей, що належать до информаційного критерію. Запропоновано перелік типових слідчих ситуацій першого етапу розслідування таких злочинів.  

The article is devoted to the study of typical investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation of illegal logging. A place of typical investigative situations has been established within the framework of a criminalistic methodology for investigating such crimes. It was determined that the main criteria of typification of investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation of illegal logging are quantitative and informative. According to the author, the informative criterion involves the study of a typical volume of forensically relevant information about the crime event, that is available at the appropriate stage of the pre-trial investigation, and information about the opportunities of police to receive such information about the crime. Based on the quantitative criterion, the investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation of illegal logging can be typed on the basis of the study of the statistical repeatability of certain combinations of information that was attributed to the information criterion. A list of typical investigative situations of the initial stage of the investigation of these crimes is proposed in the article. The prospects of further studying of the given problem are determined, in particular, the need to formulate typical investigative versions and algorithms of the investigator’s actions for each of the situations above is determined. The further research is intended to improve the process of pre-trial investigation of illegal logging and to direct investigators, prosecutors in the course of such activities.
