It is presented the so extensive history of burns that went along with the history of humanity and fi re occurrence on Earth. Over many centuries, scientists have made tremendous efforts to study the pathogenesis of combustion and apply in practice the methods of treatment creating the history of this pathology. But both studies and their practical application have not found their systematization and analysis in applied chronological form. Therefore, in this paper it was analyzed scientific and practical progress in studying burns that were in historical dynamics and appreciated the works of scientists who have established scientific and practical aspects of this pathology extremely complicated.лет

Представлена история развития науки о патогенезе и лечении ожогов и ожоговой болезни в динамике ее прогресса. На протяжении многих веков ученые приложили много усилий для изучения патогенеза этой чрезвычайно сложной патологии. Но, как научные исследования, так и их практическое приложение не были анализированы хронологически, поэтому в данной работе мы представили эти результаты в динамике их развития, параллельно с учеными, которые поставили научный и практический фундамент учения об ожогах.
