The increasing new dispersal, more aggressive forms of phylloxera, a negative impact on viticulture which is being developed on the grafted vine, raises the question of the transition to own rooted vine. We present anatomical, cytological and histochemical data indicating the level of resistance in a large group of varieties, resistant and not resistant to phylloxera, which differ in anatomical characteristics of the root structure, by the reaction of the root in tumors (knobs) and the level of defensive reaction of the root to phylloxera.. |
