The article deals with the issues related to the analysis of the concept of “control and supervision activities in the field of management of labor protection in Ukraine”. The author established that in practice in the field of labor protection control and supervision activities are in a systematic interconnection and in fact are inseparable from each other. In this regard, the author proposed the use of the term “control and supervision activities in the field of management of labor protection in Ukraine”. The author identified the issue of control and supervision in the field of legal regulation of labor law, as well as issues of control and supervision in the field of legal regulation of administrative law. The expediency of introducing amendments to labor safety legislation aimed at improving the effectiveness of control and supervision activities in Ukraine is substantiated.

У статті досліджуються питання, пов’язані з аналізом поняття «контрольно-наглядова діяльність у сфері управління охороною праці в Україні». Автором установлено, що на практиці у сфері охорони праці контрольна та наглядова діяльність перебувають у системному взаємозв’язку і фактично невіддільні одна від одної. Зважаючи на це, автором запропоновано використання терміну «контрольно-наглядова діяльність у сфері управління охороною праці». Виокремлено питання контрольно-наглядової діяльності як сфери правового регулювання трудового права і як сфери правового регулювання адміністративного права. Обґрунтовано доцільність унесення змін до законодавства з охорони праці, спрямованих на підвищення ефективності контрольно-наглядової діяльності в Україні.
