The epidemiologic transition is influenced by the social-economic changes that took place in society. From the point of view of the demography, the mortality analysis is a very complex phenomenon, where the life, working, sanitary and environmental conditions as well as the development of the of medicine and the its accessibility are interrelated. For a better understanding of the mortality transition it is necessary to analyze the epidemiological transition through the changes of factors that have an impact on mortality.
