Speaking again about libraries, there is nothing to do except to conclude what lies on the surface, namely, that libraries are not able to assume the task of organizing and running the local cognition, because of the simple reason that that is the prerogative of a community, and not of an institution, whatever it may be. In conclusion, kraevedenie and kraevedceskaia rabota are to be translated into Romanian as local history. The term Moldavistică is also appropriate, and even desirable for library centers of national level, especially for national libraries, because it signify a special level and character of this activity. The libraries in the territory could also use it. Some libraries could compose their own terms using local toponyms, but only in the case when they do not form words difficult to pronounce or unpleasant to hear when they are subjected to noun-suffix derivation, (with-istica or -ica: eg. orheistica, Unghenica). In general, abuses of this kind are undesirable.
