Rezumat

This study based on field research we analyzed some unexplored elements of folk cosmogony which, by their age are of particular interest to researchers. Such elements were preserved until late in the 1970s, especially in Lapus Land, an archaic space, they were preserved also in the historical Maramures, an area also archaic and conservative on popular culture. In our research we have given due space for children pre-Christian forms of baptism, officiated by the old empirical midwives, consisting of baptism in the sun, the moon and the stars. I have not omitted from these forms of pre-Christian baptism christening at the tree. These forms of baptism were celebrated, once in villages of Ungureni and Cupseni, Lapush villages which are conservative people living here by their archaism. In the category of old issues of folk cosmogony we analyzed popular cosmogony „Oath of „fârtaţilor” to the moon”, which were once celebrated in villages of Romanian Lapush and Cupseni in the within the field of habits concerning the „fârtaţi”. Out of category solar cult elements, highly developed in Romanian folklore and other nations, we analyzed a „Prayer to the sun” discovered by me on the Vişeu Valley, which send the first layers of old, such variants beeing very rare. In our research we decoded mito-symbolic elements in order to find the message that the ancestors sent us by these elements of popular culture.
