Rezumat

The Revolution in Bessarabia, the awakening of national consciousness deeply marked the beginning of an unprecedented antagonism, not only in the social spheres but also influencing /having a great impact on the contemporary literary process. Which are the causes that degenerated in such outright confrontations, especially between the elder writers and younger ones, between the generations of pre-revolutionary period and the recent one? What happened to those that had raised large masses by their words to the anti-colonial fight? Why are they on different sides of the barricade and fight fiercely against others today? Why both groups are devoured by malicious ambitions and festering discords difficult to understand? Does this change of behavior represent the result of the fact that the revolution changed radically the sense of life in this region imposing new forms of expressing the existence and contradictions of modern man? We intend to offer some pertinent answers to these stringent questions (some exegetes consider them rhetorical i.e. without answers and dialectic finalities) by means of the given research.
