In this article there are presented the scientific concerns of folklorist Iulian Filip, which are materialized, particularly, in the book The scene’s miracle in the folk art, an extensive study about folk theatre, a summary of his research activity for over 40 years. The author has generalized a rich factual material to demonstrate the historical evolution of the form, he has established the scientific parameters in the identification of various folk performances, he has revealed the diversity of dramatic topics, different artistic, scenic, of vestment methods, in the realization of the folk show. The fundamental aspects of the folk aesthetics are intercepted through „the art of the other look”, it was marked a sequence, a consecutive link between life theatre on one side or the world theatre where the creator Self of the folklorist Iulian Filip is into the promoting of the folk spirit’s primary meanings.
