The scope of this article is the refinement of the essence of the evaluation of administrative activity in modern conditions, and the determination of practical approaches to the isolation of the basic criteria of its evaluation. As conclusion we can mention that the evaluation of the results of the managers is much more complex than the evaluation of the working personnel. Reason consists in the complexity of administrative activity, in the evaluation of the system of its elements and degree of their influence on the object of control.
