Today, no sphere of life and activity of people practically do not exist without information technology. It opens up new opportunities for social development. However, an advanced information society brings not only new and good solutions, but also the threats, risks and challenges. The most dangerous of these is information terrorism. Information threats may result in an information war aimed at the destruction of information sovereignty, understood as the information security of the state, the ability to manage information, which comes to population and decides for him what he need and what doesn’t need. Of course, this is contrary to the democratic principle of the most important - freedom of speech, and this contradiction, in turn, is part of the information war. According to the author, there is a need to resist the information attacks. This requires a digital sovereignty, which is the State's right to determine its own information policies, manage infrastructure resources to ensure information security. |
