In Moldova and abroad were published several papers covering various aspects of migration of Moldovan citizens. This study aims to highlight the policies developed and applied with regard to Moldovan minors affected by migration: for those left alone after migration - the obligation of establishing guardianship and monitoring of their situation; for unaccompanied minors - organizing project integration or repatriation process; for kids returning from migration - appropriate reintegration policies in educational institutions in Moldova. Regarding children who have emigrated for family reunification or those born abroad - national legislative framework provides now only some general stipulations, all responsibility is delegated to Bureau for Relations with Diaspora. It was proposed by the International Organization for Migration the initiative on the establishment of educational centers abroad, in order to facilitate knowledge of the native language, history and culture of the country of origin. The qualitative research was complemented by a quantitative study: statistical data completes the problematic context of Moldovan minors affected by migration. |
