Exaggerated sometimes and diminished other times, the role of the radio in covering the political life remains an important one, especially if we refer to the technical possibilities of the majority of globe’s population. Even very specific, the radio message, and here we mean that it is fleeting one, it involves a narrower approach to the topics, themes, issues, but in no case can be considered superficial one. The defining factor in determining the role of radio in covering political events is the media consumer. The interest for the political, informational needs, political option, social position, expectations etc. influences the level of transformation of potential information into the real one, determining, finally, the radio effects. Therefore, the political journalists should consider that usually the interested public for the political life and foreign policy is active and critical with the received information.
