The increased interest in Moldova's foreign policy course lead to perceptions regarding the European Union and Russia in the consciousness of citizens. In this regard, an enormous role has the mass-media. The present study provides examples and demonstrates the relevance of the media in relation to current Moldovan political context. The research purpose is to analyze perceptions on ongoing construction of the EU and Russia presented in three selected news-paers from the Republic of Moldova and covering the period of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga from 21 to 22 May 2015 (the period under review is 11 to 31 May 2015) and the beginning of Russian military involvement in Syria in September/October 2015 (the period under review is 30 September to 13 October 2015), taking into account the context, as well as the subject matter of the research. |
