Dreptul la muncă şi dreptul la protecţia muncii pot fi considerate ca drepturi economice ale individului prin faptul că anume aceste drepturi fac posibilul ca individul să-şi sporească bunăstarea sa socială în raport cu alţi indivizi prin faptul că intră în raporturi juridice cu angajatorul, în prestarea anumitor servicii, fapt pentru care este remunerat cu un anumit salariu. Este bine cunoscut faptul că problema dezvoltării dreptului la muncă şi la protecţia muncii în Republica Moldova trebuie să fie abordatătă în corelaţie cu alte procese şi fenomene istorice şi luînd în considerare legităţile şi etapele istorice de dezvoltare a statului nostru. În anumite perioade de dezvoltare a statului nostru dreptul la muncă şi la ptotecţia muncii erau prevăzute de către legislator, dar nu erau garantate, în altele, erau garantate, dar nu era bine determinată procedura de realizare a acestora. Multe au fost făcute, dar mai mult urmează a fi de făcut în această direcţie, îndeoseb în drumul de aderare la Uniunea Europeană.

The right of work and the right of labor protection can be regarded as economic rights of the individual because these rights make possible the individual to increase its social welfare in relation to other individuals in that enter into legal relations with the employer, in providing certain services, for which it is paid a certain salary. It is well known that the issue of development of labor rights and labor protection in the Republic of Moldova must be approached in conjunction with other historical phenomena and processes and taking into account historical regularities and stages of development of our state. The Process of Constitusionalisation of labor rights and labor protection certify that reflect these rights in the normative acts of the state are closely aligned with the ruling regime or political system of the state. In certain periods of development of our state protection of the right of work and labor proection were provided by the legislator, but were not guaranteed, the others were secured, but it was not clearly defined procedure for achieving them. Much has been made but more to be done in this direction, especially in the way of accession to the European Union.
