Косские и псевдокосские амфоры и клейма 20 лет назад греческие археологи исследовали несколько амфорных мастерских на о.Кос, благодаря чему удалось идентифицировать керамическую тару этого центра IV в. до н. э. За прошедшее время автором была обработана коллекция в шесть десятков косских амфор V—I вв. до н. э. Выстроена типологическая схема косского амфорного производства, в рамках которой выделяется пять типов указанного времени, которые, в свою очередь, распределяются на ряд вариантов и серий. Благодаря значительному числу комплексов, где косские амфоры встречены с синхронными образцами тары иных центров, удается достаточно надежно продатировать эти варианты и серии. Выделено также несколько видов «псевдокосских» амфор позднеэллинистического времени.

Amforele și ștampilele de tip Cos și pseudo-Cos Cu 20 de ani în urmă, arheologii greci au cercetat câteva ateliere amforistice pe insula Cos, fapt ce a permis identifi carea ceramicii acestui centru de sec. IV î. Hr. Pe parcursul acestor două decenii, autorul a studiat o colecţie din 60 amfore de tip Cos din sec. V—I î. Hr. A fost elaborată schema tipologică a producţiei de amfore de tip Cos, în cadrul căreia au putut fi evidenţiate cinci tipuri de amfore, care, la rândul lor, se subdivizează în mai multe variante și serii. Datorită unui număr important de complexe, în care amforele de tip Cos au fost descoperite în asociere cu material amforistic din alte centre, aceste variante și serii pot fi datate destul de exact. Au fost evidenţiate și câteva tipuri de amfore „pseudo-Cos” din perioada elenistică târzie

Koan and Pseudo-Koan Amphorae and Stamps Twenty years ago, Greek archaeologists studied some amphora producing workshops of Kos and succeeded to identify ceramic vessels of this center dated to 4th c. BC. In the past years, the author processed a collection of sixty Koan amphorae of 5th—1st cc. BC and built a typological scheme of the Koan amphorae production, having distinguished fi ve types belonging to the indicated time span, which, in their turn, are distributed into a number of variants and series. Owing to a big number of complexes where Koan amphorae were found along with synchronous vessels produced in other centers, it is possible to provide a rather reliable dating to these variants and series. Also several types of “pseudo-Koan” amphorae of the late Hellenistic time were distinguished.
