К вопросу об обращении русских монет в последней четверти X — первой половине XI вв. и русском денежном обращении домонгольской Руси Статья посвящена проблемам древнерусской нумизматики, а также денежного обращения на территории Киевской Руси в XI—XIII вв. На основе имевшихся ранее данных и новых находок анализируются возможные причины чеканки златников и сребреников в последней четверти X — первой половине XI вв., а также перехода во второй половине ХI в. от употребления дирхемов и монет англосаксонских типов к монетам германских типов, а затем в XII — 30—40-е гг. XIV вв. — к безмонетному периоду. На основе анализа делаются выводы об эмиссии киевских князей, как попытке решения проблемы нехватки денежной массы в условиях «кризиса восточного серебра».

Contribuţii la problema circulaţiei monedelor ruse în ultimul sfert al sec. X — prima jumătate a sec. XI şi сirculaţia monetară în Rusia premongolă Articolul se adresează problemelor numismaticii ruseşti vechi şi a circulaţiei monetare de pe teritoriul Rusiei Kievene din sec. XI—XIII. În baza datelor care sunt deja cunoscute specialiştilor, dar şi a unor descoperiri noi, sunt analizate posibilele motive care au dus la emisiunea monedelor din aur de tip zlatnik şi a celor de argint de tip srebrenik din ultimul sfert al sec. X — prima jumătate a sec. XI. De asemenea, se atrage atenţia asupra trecerii de la utilizarea dirhamilor şi monedelor de tipuri anglosaxone la monedele de tipuri germanice, care a avut loc în a doua jumătate a sec. XI. Se analizează şi cauzele care au dus la instaurarea perioadei nemonetare din sec. XII — anii 30—40 ai sec. XIV. Autorul consideră, că emisiunile cnejilor kieveni au reprezentat o tentativă de soluţionare a problemei lipsei masei monetare în condiţiile „crizei argintului oriental”.

Russian Coins in the Last Quarter of the 10th — fi rst half of the 11th Centuries and Russian Monetary Circulation in pre-Mongol Rus' The author uses some earlier available data as well as new finds to analyze possible reasons for coinage of zlatniks and srebreniks in the last quarter of 10th — first half of 11th cc., as well as transition from dirhams and Anglo-Saxon coins to German coins in the second half of 11th c., and then to the coinless period in the 12th c. — 1330s-1340s. The author concludes that the emission by the Kievan knyazes seems to be an attempt to address the problem of insufficient money stock in the condition of the ‘crisis of eastern silver’.
