THE DESIRE TO ACHIEVE GRAND UTOPIAN PLANS OFTEN POSES A GRAVE THREAT TO FREEDOM Social policy - is an activity of the state, public organizations and charities in the area of social development and social welfare. It is usually aimed at meeting the needs of the population and is implemented through the social sphere. Meanwhile, social policy of the state provides a government influence on social processes that develop in the society by dint of administrative, budgetary and legislative measures. Broadly speaking, social policy covers all areas of human life: improvement of living conditions, ensuring the principle of social justice, guarantee of social protection, material and spiritual needs of human, the problem of employment and many others. This article aims to analyze the phenomenon of social policy in the modern world, to provide a comparative analysis of social policy in the European Union, Australia, USA and Canada. |
