ARMENIAN CHURCH INVADES GEORGIA It is known that the Armenian Apostolic Church (Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church) is one of the oldest churches in the world. The vast majority of the inhabitants of the Republic of Armenia, of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, as well as most of the Armenians living in the Diaspora in many countries around the world, belongs to this church. The Armenian Apostolic Church belongs to the family of the Oriental Churches, non-Chalcedonian. In turn, the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church is one of the historical dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the jurisdiction of which includes the territory of the Republic of Georgia. Today there is a strong intervention of the Armenian Apostolic Church in politics. The article stresses that it is the core of the aggressive Armenian nationalism. |
